Back when I lived up in Houghton, MI, I had a ATV to explore the Keweenaw peninsula. The area was the center of copper mining in the late 1800’s. Now all the railroad lines have been removed and converted to trails – snowmobile in the winter, off-road in the summer. I loved exploring all the old, long abandoned mining sites.
